Had difficult time finding a left side drain that would fit in alcove and also with a centered drain instead of offset to one side. I also liked the fact that the bottom of the shower pan has support pads that rest on mortar and almost a self levels itself when installed. This helps if you have an imperfect leveled sub-floor. Just installed Feb2018 so time will tell how it lasts. Plumber and tile guy both said they had never seen a pan that has rails that go on side that help make it a single, double or alcove type install. As long as you install everything correctly, as per the instructions, it should be water tight. Pics do not have drain cover on as I was 90% done when I took the pictures. Now that I put the drain cover on it looks very nice

The shower base seems to be a great quality and the look is sleek and modern. Love the hidden drain. Purchased it for my soon to be basement bath but it is not installed yet. We will see! Fast shipping!

The only thing I wish we didnt have to do is glue/secure the tile flanges on where you need them. I guess it does make a single product more versatile. Other than that the product and delivery time are great.
