Heavy duty,. This is a very nice "beefed" up drain. Excellent value - we are building so dont have it in the shower yet, but looking forward to it.

I needed to order a drain quickly and most of the polished brass drains cost a small fortune. As pictured, the drain is a polished brass. The name of the finish is Bright Brass. When I opened the package, it is actually a bushed brass. But, I kept it anyway because I needed it quickly and I figured that it wouldnt be that much of a difference since it will be in the floor, away from the other fixtures.

While purchasing many items from this site, decided on this as drain in remodeling shower. It it a great accent to the porcelain tile purchased. It is easy to remove hair or soap fragments from drain, and also has additional apparatus to remove entire drain to clean out debris. Have had this for over 6 months and finish looks just as great as the day that plumber installed it
