This pillow is awesome because the gel encasement. I love how it keeps the pillow cool all night, unlike regular memory foam pillows that get hot during the night. The shredded memory foam is medium-firm and is very comfortable! I like it so much more than a typical memory foam. I love this pillow and I would definitely buy it again. I am a side sleeper and the thickness is perfect to keep my neck straight throughout the night.

Quicker delivery than expected. Fast outgassing of materials. Pillow has terrific balance between soft & firm support, just what I was looking for.

This is an excellent pillow, but for a particular kind of sleeper. It feels very much like a Tempur-Pedic bed. The memory foam molds perfectly to your head, and then maintains that shape while you sleep. It is also firm, like a Tempur-Pedic bed. I recommend this pillow for people who like a firm, conforming pillow that is good for side sleeping and back sleeping.

This pillow is very supportive and comfortable. It conforms to the shape of my neck and head easily but does not compress down into nothing like my old pillow. I used to wake up with neck pain but not with this pillow. We didnt notice any odor - we followed the directions and took off the outer cover and let it expand next to the window in the sunlight (flipping occasionally) for a day. We love this pillow - my husband and I have fought over whose turn it is to sleep with it - the price is right so well be buying another one!

I think it is just a little to firm to my liking. If you like hard pillows, this would be a good buy.
