This items size, color, and thickness were more than adequate. I was unsure how well it would insulate but the blanket immediately proved itself by providing excellent warmth.

This is by far the warmest wool blanket you will ever buy. I have grown up with layers of blankets when I lived in the mountains, and pile high down comforters when I lived in Germany, and I can tell you, this blanket is the best of both worlds. You only need ONE blanket...believe me. I cant believe that it keeps me so warm, and sometimes even hot, when Im in bed. You will not be disappointed when purchasing this blanket. It is the best way to keep warm without the bulk of layering.

I know it is a little priced,but it is what it is, wool 100%, the only disadvantage for me was that I have Cal King bed, unfortunately cal king is not available. still fit for my bed but not much to overlap on the sides.
