We bought this for our latex mattress which has a wool casing. Couldnt imagine putting synthetic fabrics on top of all the natural materials, and this mattress protector gives us an extra layer of wool in addition to being made with organic cotton. Houzz price was better than other online retailers.

I love it! It is breathable and it is free of chemical smell! Did not test yet its waterproof-ability, but so far so good!
