This frame was defective in that the center cross bracket had to be cut with a power tool in order for it to fit properly. Luckily, we were able to cut off a piece of the metal bracket so it would lay flat and forced it to work. Perhaps my product was uniquely made in this poor fashion and it was a bummer. Other than that the frame is sturdy and is good quality. Its holding up the bed just fine.
