I love this bed it feels so luxurious expensive. The color it’s just as advertised and although ithe foundation it’s all wood the bed feels really steady

We purchased this bed (king size) with healthy skepticism and half expecting that it needed to be modified or adjusted to our liking. Overall, materials are decent quality, with reasonable hardware. The bed frame is an inch or two wider than our Beauty Rest mattress. The bed was probably designed to be used with box spring or at least a low-profile box spring; I say this because the slats (all five of them running horizontal) are probably spread too far apart to properly support just the mattress. You will need to use a box spring or a bunkie board, or a custom cut sheet of ply wood. We did not want a box spring because we preferred the bed to be at chair-height so we purchased a bunkie board for this purpose.

It is a beautiful bed. note: we have a 10" mattress, there was a 7" space between the mattress and the bottom of the headboard, so we purchased a 7" boxspring to fill the gap.

I love everything about the bed! In regards to color and facbric, its exactly what I expected. The size is just a little off though. I have a King, and the dimensions (which I should have looked at more closely before purchasing) are several inches bigger for the bedframe than the matress. I checked to see if my matress was just small for a King, but its standard size. It ends up leaving a gap at the edge of the matress, and doesnt look as clean as I would like. This bed is also described as a platform bed, however the headboard is really tall and the slats dont give much support. I now have to buy a box spring to make the matress fit and be supported. I just wish the sizing was more appropriate to a standard King size bed.

Really nice bed. True to color, feels soft and looks really expensive. Only reason didn’t give 5 stars is bc it stated no boxspring needed. So i just purchased mattress, and it needs boxspring for the space in between headboard.
