Inspired by mid-century modern Scandinavian design, the Leyton upholstered queen size platform bed provide additional option for your modern bedroom setting. Softening the edges of chic urban interiors, the wonderfully tailored headboard and robust frame of this bed pairs effortlessly. Constructed of eco-friendly solid rubberwood in dark walnut finishing, the Leyton is upholstered in textured slate Gray fabric with classic button cushioning while the solid wood frame has smooth lines punctuated by sharp cornered joinery. To ensure a comfortable night?s sleep, the traditional slats of the base have been closely spaced to provide firm support that suits standard size mattresses. Made in Malaysia, the queen size bed requires assembly.

You get what you pay for. The style of the bed is nice and the fabric and wood are true to color, but assembly is a nightmare and the quality is lacking. Most of the inserts for screws are not drilled properly, if at all, and the instructions are extremely vague. I had seen other reviews describing the center supports snapping off of the frame, and after hearing the cracking sound the bed makes when you sit on it, I can see this happening to ours as well. Overall I would not repurchase

The style combined with a new duvet really upgraded our bedroom. Its a beautiful, contemporary look that resembles boutique hotels. It took 90 minutes to assemble and 2 people were necessary throughout the assembly. Once it was finished, we stood back and marveled at the amazing change in our space!
