I spent A LOT of time looking for a well-priced walnut dresser that would not overwhelm my smallish bedroom, still provide good storage and work with the eclectic vibe Im going for. Ive had this for a day, so cant speak to how it holds up, but first impressions are excellent value for the money: the more I look at this dresser, the more I like it. Its a versatile, stylish and solid, well-made piece of furniture--a bit darker than the photos on the site but true to walnut look (skewing toward cool brown tones, not red). It has beautiful, substantial lucite and brass hardware that really pops against the wood and is much prettier/brighter than the pictures show, adding a lot of interest to the piece--also love the rounded front corners and MCM style legs. This could easily be used in a main living area (back not finished tho). The drawers are roomy and work smoothly, however they do require a slight tug to open and dont close completely flush with the front unless you deliberately push them in--not much effort at all, but it might annoy some. This is available on other sites but Houzz had best price/free shipping. Very happy with this purchase.

This is a beautiful dresser and worth the price. My only complaint was with shipping. I didnt realize this item with packaging is 225 lbs. I selected "hand delivery" at purchase assuming (incorrectly) that this meant they would place the dresser for me. Instead they delivered it inside the door and that was it. I live on the 4th floor of a walk-up condo unit and had to then hire a company to take it all the way upstairs. I wish the weight and delivery options were outlined more clearly by Houzz.
