I had great hopes for this rug. I hoped that the little hairs that come off it in great quantity would stop after the initial wearing in. But almost daily I see drifts of the fine hairs all over my floor and they pill up where we walk. I have to vacuum and sweep constantly. Also, I had hoped that it would be the colors that are shown online. However, in reality the ruby red is more like a faded rose, and the chocolatey background shown looks grey. To be honest, the rug is pretty and goes well in our room, the only reason I didnt rate it a one star. However I dont thing living with all this hairy dust is good for our health. I am returning it. The picture below shows just one sweep across the rug.

This rug is beautiful. I love the colors. However, I just vacuumed it for the first time and white fibers pulled up from the rug. Some of them you can pull out, but most are firmly attached. They stick up above the rest of the rug so you cant miss them. It looks like my rug has white lint all over it. Ive never had this problem with vacuuming a rug. Now Ive got the hassle of trying to return the rug.

The style is perfect for my home. The rug looks great and it lays nicely after rolling it out.

The rug is very soft. I purchased it for the front door entrance. It does not shed, it does not show dirt. It is thick and laid flat almost right away. Very satisfied. I added a picture, that every one can see that the colors are not bright.
