cow hide was thin,dirty or stained in places. I would never buy this again. I was expecting a nice thick skin like the ones I have bought in the past. This might make a bed spread but nothing more like a rug.

I really liked this rug and the quality seemed to be really good. It did not look cheap at all, although I had to return it because it just didnt look as I imagined it to be in my living room. The colors didnt go as well as I though with the rest of the furniture although they looked exactly like in the picture. the company as well as houzz were super helpful with the return because I had already tossed the original packaging. I may order this rug in a different color from this company again.

I understand that the rug can come in different shapes but mine was just perfect. It is made well and lies without the curling you can get with hide rugs. We love it
