When looking at the this picture and reading the description of the item, you would expect to receive a felted item without any glues, adhesives, or bonding agents. The item received doesnt look like this picture at all but if you scroll through all the pictures, it does look like the last one picture. The rug pad has no odor. There is some kind of a bonding agent on this (see 2nd picture) and Im hoping that it doesnt cause harm to my wood floors as I have chosen to put that side down. Information on which side goes down should be included with the product or in the description. The product feels more like a batting with a glue type backing than a felt. I am keeping this item even though it is not what I thought I was getting. Hopefully, it performs well. Only time will tell.

The rug I ordered wasn’t as plush as I’d hoped so I wanted to add some extra “squish” this for the bill. Feels good on your feet. I do need to trim it a bit to line up correctly with the rug. Seems to be creeping out the edge as we walk on it

Awesome rug pad! It’s very plush and makes such a difference vs the rug alone. One side of the pad is the felt and the other side has a bit of grip on it so it holds the rug from sliding around.
