I shopped around and this was the thickest pad I could find in the size I needed at the best price (it was on sale). Doesn’t slide at all on my tile floors. Will be buying this again for other rugs in my home.

This rug pad has a sticky side and a felt side. We chose to put the sticky side up for the rug to set on it. It works perfectly keeping the rug from sliding. It was not necessary to trim, although it says it’s easy to do that.

I bought this pad for my dining room 6 months ago. I rolled up the rug and pad to clean the floor today and the pad left a gummy residue when rolled back. I was able to get the sticky stuff off with lots of scrubbing but I’m not putting it back...
