Keeps the carpet down and in place. Wish I would have gotten one a little shorter. The pad is the exact same size as the area rug, so I had to cut it down just a bit. Good price, easy to lay, recommend.

This is soft and sticks to the floor and rug. Thin and unobtrusive. Exactly what I wanted. I wish it came in longer lengths.

the product it self, I loved. I got the wrong size to begin, I should have measuted for exactly what I needed. with no prior experience laying this down I had quite the challenge and difficulty. it keeps the run exactly where I want it and adds a nice cushion. over all love the product.

This is the only product I have found that really holds a runner to carpet without it moving as you walk over it. We use runners in the heavy-traffic areas of the room to preserve the carpet. Other carpet-to-carpet products just dont hold. You cant re-use this if you lift it, but we can shampoo the carpet and runners in place without having to move the runners and are okay with this.
