Im loathe to buy gadgets but this one called out to me. It has an appealing design that looked simple and smart, but i have not figured out how to store a decent amount of basil in it nor remove some without making a mess and getting frustrated, The whole point was to be able to get a big bundle like they sell at the farmers market or in the bulk greens case at the store, and to be able to take out a bit at a time. I wasnt able to fit more than five stalks without having to jam them in and then they dont get their stems down into the water. Would work fine for just a small bundle, but i dont need a storage gadget for that, i can use that in one meal.

I have been trying to find a product that would help with keeping my herbs longer....this is the one! Arrived quickly & easy to order. I have been using for several weeks and love it!!!

I have a small garden and found it difficult to keep the herbs from spoiling once cut. The container is very handy, easy to fill and easy to clean. Only challenge, it is a bit larger than I envisioned. Had to move a few things around to make space in the Frig. Worth it!

item can only hold a sm. amt. of herbs & found it no better than a glass w/ water & a plastic bag over it to preserve herbs as a bunch of market herbs need more than one of this product

I bought this for a present so I actually didnt use it. BUT, looking at the product, it looks like it would work perfect. The water is only at the bottom so the herbs bottom half is submerged. The handle to lift the herbs is perfect in raising all the herbs to cut any amount of herbs needed. Its small enough to fit on a door of a fridge. Its made of acrylic and its light, easy to clean, and with the herbs inside it would like nice and fresh.
