This stool is beautiful and the quality of the wood and finish is exceptional. It is exactly as shown on the website. I would have given it five stars but for the problem I had with assembling it. I attached three of the legs to the top and bottom rings with no problem. When I tried to attach the fourth leg, the leg would not fit into the bottom ring. I had to ream out the dado in the bottom ring in order to insert the leg. If i did not have the proper tools or knowledge to accomplish this, I would have had to return the stool. Because I do not know whether or not this is an isolated manufacturing glitch, I do not think I can recommend this product.

I ordered three stools and am happy with the decision. The stools are solidly built and should last a long time; a great value. They come packed very well. In one review the owner talked about tape pulling up the finish. They must have read that because they did not use tap. The parts were packed very well and went together easily; almost. On chair three only 3 sets of holes were drilled in the footrest instead of four. Houzz was very cooperative in getting this fixed. I am waiting on that part as I right this. If you have a screwdriver with a "square" bit it makes assembly easier than using the allen wrench. Remember to assemble the leg, footrest, and seat sections before fully tightening all of the screws.
