You never want to be the first to write a review - BUT... I searched for barstools for a month, online and in stores. Couldnt find anything comfortable or of a style I liked locally, and I obsessed over the exact height, wood tone, comfort, style, and of course quality. These are terrific! Just the right amount of cush, nicely finished, very well packed, and a great value. Id actually measure them closer to 29" seat, but they look and feel fine with my 42" bar. Im only 54", so they seem a little too short to me, but my 6 friend thinks they are perfect! The walnut goes terrifically with my midcentury teak dining table - also a huge concern! I had the pair together in 30 minutes! Not bad for a "senior" citizen!!

What a shame. This product is packaged in a flimsy box that arrived untapped in sections, ripped on the sides and dented corners. Within the box, I found very little packaging to protect the parts. One piece of cardboard was placed on the top to protect the chair back. The chair back was placed inside a plastic bag. That bag was taped to the back of the chair...the tape peeled the finish right from the back. To top it off, there were not instructions included...just a slip that instructs to call if there are missing parts! The entire experience was actually so extraordinary that it became laughable!

Bar stools look just like the picture and were super easy to put together. Ive only had them a few week,s but they survived their first party like champs. Comfort wise they are nice. They have some padding that seems durable. Definitely recommend if youre considering.
