I received the chairs and knew they wouldnt be the highest quality due to the price, but my son, a large man typical of an athlete, sat on one and it went crack! Also, there are NO guideholes pre-drilled for the seat installation so I had to have someone do that for me. Ive put together a lot of furniture recently, more complex than these chairs, but these took the longest since the instructions were quite poor. Other than that, they are beautiful and if youre a small person sitting at a counter (they are counter height, not bar height, which was omitted in the description when I bought them), then these are good for you if you like MCM. If you look closely, youll see theres no holes pre-drilled for the wood screws they do give you, but which need to be drilled into what should be guideholes. There was no way to do that, and you need a power tool, no mention of that either.

These are really cute, however, prepare for a frustrating setup process. I did it alone, so you may have better luck working with someone else, however, i highly doubt it would make a huge difference because its just so ackward. I habe to go fix the vack to ond lf them because the screws detached. Also, could have been a little higher for my bar table.

I combed the internet to find the perfect stools for my counter. I could not be more pleased with these! They are perfect with my decor choice for my new apartment - Mid-Century Modern. I love them.

I think these barstools are adorable, but they just werent what I was expecting. They are significantly shorter than I was expecting. They are more fitting for a counter-height table than an actual bar (to be fair, I didnt measure). Also, they are a pain in the butt to assemble. One screw was completely stripped when I opened the package and there was no receiving end for the L-bracket for the cushion installation which left me with no choice but to drill directly into the frame. Not a big deal except for now they cant be returned.

The directions were a bit difficult to understand but overall the chairs are great and look just like the photo!
