So far the stool has been great. The only piece that looks somewhat cheap is the backrest; I think it’s laminate plywood. The rest of the chair is hardwood and the hardware is solid. The assembly requires some skill or patience. The instructions are pretty straightforward, but anyone trying to assemble with just a screwdriver would be frustrating; is chose to carefully use a 1/4 impact driver. Probably takes about 30 min per chair to unpack and assemble.

Not easy to put it together, but I have good friends who helped. The chairs are comfy and elegant.

Shipped super fast. Assembly easy, but they are worth the price paid, which is about 60$ ea. If your looking for a deal on high end stools, this isn’t it, but they are an attractive and sturdy alternative. Very lightweight, not a real solid feeling item. But I like them.
