The stools arrived in great condition and look exactly as pictured. Assembly was easy, until you had to screw in the seat cushion brackets. There are no pre-drilled holes for the cushion brackets. If you try and mount the screws into the wood directly it is going to split the wood. Taking that extra step to drill holes delayed the assembly and make it much more difficult if the holes were pre-drilled.

Really like the design and wood color. We ordered two chairs and the grain on the chair backs are totally different. Would have like to have similar grains. Seats have a nice covering but are quite firm. The adjustable chair “pads” are hard plastic and might scratch our wood floors. We bought pad covers as a precaution. Chairs seem to be sturdy but time will tell. For the price, they are a good value IMO.

Nice stools, but 2" too short for a kitchen island. I relied on photos rather than measuring. Now I know....
