I saw the reviews, they were mixed. I bought 3, I will now have to take them somewhere to have the finish redone. The finish is chipped off in many places, not smooth in many areas and only one went together properly. the seat is not well made and strings hanging off them. My husband put them together and trashed the boxes before I saw the stools. I would have sent them all back. they add nothing to my kitchen. Just ugly all the way around. Out of the three I don;t have one good stool. They are red???/ Sooo sad that a manufacturer would sell this quality to anyone.

For the price I cant complain, but if I had to pay full price that would be different. The chair is heavy and sturdy. several large areas damaged on the product during construction of the chair. extremely sloppy job of trying to conceal the damage. As far as assembly, the first chair assembled needed to be redone, you get better at it the more chairs you put together. Delivery was delivered promptly.
