The bolt closer to the bottom of the chair was almost impossible to screw in with the allen wrench.

In the past few years, I have purchased several items from Houzz - but I have to say that the Gradisca swivel barstool so far are my favorite purchase. Great craftsmanship. The gray fabric has a little charcoal in it - fabulous. The legs are a maple. My husband built the first of the four barstools, but it took too long - he finally did away with instructions and between my husband and nephew they built the bar stools by following their own ingenuity- and in less time I had all four bar stools ready for use. The barstools are very sturdy and the tufting is done beautifully. A little stiff at first. A week later the stools are very comfortable. Did I mention the price, excellent saved about 100.00 dollars per set. Comparison shopped for about a month. The packaging was great. I’m purchasing one more set. Good job HOUZZ!

These are perfect. They are well made and very sturdy. Assembly was a bit difficult as four of the bolts are difficult to turn when securing the legs due to the inability to get more than about an eighth turn on the hex wrench. But, that wont stop me from purchasing two more today!
