Metal base is sturdy and handsome, nicely fabricated and finished. The upholstery on the seat is nice looking, well done ans the padding is great. Too soon to tell how it wil stand the test of time.

Easy to assemble and look beautiful. They are a bit high for my "counter height", though, wish they were a couple inches shorter.

These stools were easy to assemble, they are beautiful, sturdy and comfortable. The only negative that I think its important to be aware of before purchasing is that while the padding makes them very comfortable, the tufts catch every crumb. With young children using these stools on a daily basis, I have been cleaning out the crumbs with cotton swabs very frequently. I have the cream colored stools, and they do become stained from tomato sauce, dirty fingerprints, etc., and need to be wiped down almost every day. I still dont regret my purchase because they are perfect for my kitchen, and they really are very beautiful.

Just spent two hours on trying to get these chair together and should have taken 5 mins each. The holes are so poorly drilled and COMPLETELY misaligned. While I was initially excited because they do look nice..now Im very irritated.
