As others have said these look very high end and elegant ... on the surface. Assembly was a joke! You get two photos and with 6 different parts and a small Allen wrench. You will need a screwdriver (Phillips) to put in the wood screws. There are no pilot holes so good luck getting everything to line up. As you will see in other photos even hand tightening with 2 people things don’t line up. I gave up. I even broke a leg hand tightening and the manufacturer told HOUZZ I had used a power tool. Thankfully HOUZZ refunded me money but sadly I have 3 stools vs 4. Not to mention the screw came through one leg and split the wood. And last the 2 set of chairs were drilled differently so 2 chairs have support rails which are all even and then one chair has the rails uneven. As for assembly I’d recommend you put all 4 legs in the respective slots. Then insert the support rails (4). Use the longest bolts in the top hole to anchor the legs. Then use the shorter bolt in the lower hole (closest to the seat cushion). Once you have this done use the screws to anchor the side rails. If you can have an extra hand it will help but no guarantee things will line up perfectly. I’m praying they don’t buckle under the weight of a heavier guest. Also it says I bought these in Navy I bought the Gray!

The chairs are very royal in looks but quality of legs are substandard..in hardly 7 days of occasional use..rear side of a leg rest broke..very disappointing for such and expensive piece..need supplier to help

Overall the chairs look nice. They are a good value for the money in my opinion. They are not perfect. In fact I thought the instructions were kind of crappy but you can figure it out. It doesn’t take very long to put them together. The chair pieces for the foot rest do not line up on either chair. I bought these chairs because I have a four-year-old daughter who sits in them to eat her breakfast ,snacks and makes a mess they are very easy to clean so I am able to overlook their flaws. Otherwise the chairs in the Navy are more like a royal blue and offer a perfect punch of color for my kitchen that I was looking for.
