Its a beautiful bench. But its rather lightweight, and the surface is quite rough. You might want to be careful handling it to avoid splinters.

I am using this for our entryway and it’s a very solid, sturdy piece of furniture, we love it. Our home is a mountain, modern Decor so this bench fits perfectly.
