They look exactly like the photo and are easy to put together. They have great proportions and look terrific. Quality is great for the price. That said, its not real velvet so you are sitting on a synthetic fabric and the chair could have a little bit more cushion. All in all, a great buy. (The chairs look much darker in the my image than in real life. They are truly a dark slate gray with blue tint)
