I added different wheels and use this as a kitchen island. Its a perfect fit, provides lots of additional storage and is well made. Perfect too because it rolls. Everyone who visits wants one!

We bought the white distressed island for our cabin. We removed the top and added granite with an overhang of 12" all around. The drawers are no longer functional but the other storage areas are perfect for what we needed. The stools are 26" height and work perfectly with the island. The island came in one piece and is well made. It is a great rustic piece of furniture and adds so much to my cabin.
