These stools look great in the photo, but not so great in person. The brown metal frame is like a blackened steel that has a weird rusty aged coating on it. This wouldnt be so bad, but the coating flakes off when you touch it. The wood on the stools themselves is also kind of gross - the description says its pine, but mine appear to be pine soaked in a heavy bath of plastic epoxy. Theres almost no wood character left at all, which makes me think these arent made of real wood. Really disappointed.
