The Euro Stainless Steel Hood is a well design product. It is a attraction to the kitchen and not a sore eye, for say. I would strongly recommend this product to any person that has a island range/stove. Art

Pros - Beautiful, easy to install, powerful fan, very quiet Cons - LED color looks blue and isnt replaceable for soft white to match my lights.

The purchasing experience was smooth and the unit arrived promptly and in good condition. Installed, it looks very nice and "high end." The original list price of $1000 certainly suggested "high-end." Unfortunately, even with four bulbs, the illumination is marginal and has a blue tinge to it that does not match all the other lighting in the kitchen. Lighting was the feature that attracted me to this hood in the first place. Ironically, there is an extremely bright (and annoying) blue indicator light-right at eye level as seen from from across the kitchen-to remind the user that the light is on. That one would need an indicator light to tell you when the lights are on is perhaps "illuminating" in and of itself. It came with 4 1 W LED bulbs and we are hoping they can be replaced by something brighter. Given the assortment of bulbs that come on range hoods, I wish the industry would adopt a "lumen standard" or some other means of comparing brightness across units when deciding on a range hood. The exhaust fan is not yet connected so I can not comment on this aspect of the hoods functionality.
