Not the quietest hood. For the price, it has the look and feel of a high-end hood. The only complaint is that it is very noisy and doesn’t work well in an open concept kitchen/living room bc you can’t talk or watch the tv while the hood is on bc it sounds like a spaceship is about to launch

I bought this for my new house. The fan motor is so loud it is in usable. I also had to order an extension for the vent because we have a high ceiling. It looks very cheap.

Though it’s a bit smaller then I imagine and a bit to the loud side when on high, it’s still a great add on piece to the kitchen. Light is not as bright but I like it like that because I can use it as a night light. So far, so good.
