I bought this to match the light pink accents I have throughout my apartment and because I have a glass cook top I learned not all kettles conduct heat on well enough to boil the water. I bought a stainless steel teapot that did not work Im giving to my sister for her gas stove. Hoping it would work I took a chance and it works great. The color is perfectly the same in the photo and it is well made, not heavy but solid. I give it 5 stars although the whistle is very quiet and sounds more like a hum than a whistle which is not a significant issue for me. Im very happy so far Ive been enjoying it for a few weeks.

Im currently in a white mode to get away from too much stainless steel so this tea kettle fits the bill perfectly.

I am still waiting to receive this kettle. Original shipment was incorrect color. The online kettle looks perfect for my kitchen. Houzz is wonderful to work with and this vender reshipped the correct color immediately. .
