In the pictures these are an Caribbean blue. And have an illuministic appearance to them. In person they are more dull. Ill see if I cant add an oil or something to bring out the color more. If not, I think I may be returning these.

The color is not as vibrant as in the photos, but the coasters are good quality and attractive. The holder design is nonsensical and could definitely be improved.

These 4" X 4" coasters are handmade by highly trained artisans in Newport, KY. The stone used is a tumbled Botticino marble, quarried in Verona, Italy. Natural variations on the surface are to be expected, and enhance the unique beauty of each tile! Images are hand-printed onto the surface; because the stone is naturally porous, the image is absorbed by the surface of the stone and will never peel or flake off.
