The color is gold/brass as pictured, the glass is frosted white. The lights were easy to install and were a good value for the price $111 each, I bought 3 and installed in the hallway.

We purchased this light for our entryway. It looks just as expected, is well constructed, is very well insulated against any heat that may be generated from bulbs, and was very well packaged. I recommend this product if youre looking for simple sophistication in any transitional space!

The style of the light is transitional (not totally contemporary). The gold color looks darker on the website. If you are looking for a light closer to antique gold, this light will not work. The reason for an average rating is because I did not hang it so I am not able to tell you how it looks hung and how much light it gives off.
