I was worried that the low price tag would result in this fixture being cheap-looking but I am pleasantly surprised. It is well made, has a good weight to it and looks very elegant. I am very happy with the purchase.

Very fun light that gives instant character to the whole room. The "pedals" are made of thick durable plastic. When ordering I was worried that it might be light and flimsy material but that is not the case at all. Very satisfied.

This lamp will make you WOW!!! I have never seen anything like it. It looks even better than the pictures, I cannot tell you how exciting it is. I have NO REGRETS, and would say to anyone considering it...GO FOR IT!!! you will be ecstatic!!!

Very architectural and organic and especially eye-catching when illuminated! Will look stunning in our dining room (when it is finished). The only downside is the hideous cord. I didnt purchase the ceiling mount kit because I planned to hardwire it myself until I saw the cord. It is not attractive even if I was only going to use it as a plug-in (not obvious from the store photos). The ceiling mount kit that I was directed to for this fixture, has a similar cord, just clear, so Ill be looking for another option. If Akari had an option to upgrade the cord to either fabric or a nice round smooth cord; or even have down-rod options, Id pay the extra for it.

Great light, the electrical cord was not the best, but was able to replace it. The product is as described and I would recommend it.
