Out back, in my small orchard, I am growing prairie hay which I find many uses for. Cut and dried for chicken bedding. Early crop cut to feed small amounts to chickens. Mulch around garden plants. Inhibits ground erosion, especially during heavy rains. Keeps weeds at near zero. This sickle has the perfect curve, super sharp, just the right length. Great for cutting prairie hay.

This harvesting sickle features a serrated edge ideal for cutting grasses.
