I ordered this planter with some reservation, but was pleasantly surprised to see how well constructed they were. All the seams were ground flat. They - two of them - arrived in the raw black steel finish, and I was able to transform them to their completely rusted finish in about two hours. I found a formula online, and used a standard spray bottle for applying it. The formula was primarily hydrogen peroxide, with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and a little table salt. A quick rinse, and the finished planters looked they had been outdoors for years.

Received three of the Veradek planters for our new front yard The planters are beautifully made and look amazing. Can’t wait for time to run it’s course and see the colors change. I have no complaints.

I love the planters that I purchased. They came "raw" and I cant wait for them to rust! I have an industrial-style building and the rust will add another element to the design.
