love this new planter! Forgot that it comes gray metal and rusts out to rust. Put it together and within 2 days in the yard noticed the rusting had begun. Great modern look!

Ive ordered four of these cortex steel planters in the last two years in different sizes. Ive been very happy with all of them. Theyre heavy but they go together well. It can be helpful to have an extra pair of hands for the larger sizes. It didnt take long for the steel to get the nice orange patina shown in the picture - maybe a few months. They are a nice contrast against my dark blue house. There are drainage holes in the bottom too.

We used a rusting recipe from the Internet to hasten the rusting process, and we love them. They were starting to rust without treatment; we just hurried the process. Clean, modern look. I dont understand how someone else bought a steel container and complained about the weight. ???

Planters are shaped from metal by skilled craftsmen utilizing precise folding of the metal to create a planter that uses no welding during the manufacturing process and assembles into a rectangular shape from five panels. Planter panels interlock together to form incredibly solid plant container that can accommodate large plants. Most of all, the planter is simple, modern and minimalistic. Corten Steel planters do not ship pre-weathered and will arrive with the bare steel finish which will have to weather over time to develop a golden brown rust color and texture.
