The center of the top is higher than the edges meaning that anything placed on top slides off so it is not useful for a little side table as most garden stools are. I dont know if it is a flaw in this particular stool or if all Valencia garden stools have the elevated center. It is very handsome, but not useful.

Everything worked for me accept the top of the stool was not flat. I was using it in my living area as a side table next to a slipper chair to place a drink. Because the top is not flat like the picture shows this will have to be returned. I am very disappointed. I was so careful before I ordered.

I have put this garden stool outside with a fern in a planter on it and it is very pretty. This garden stool did not cost much compared to many others.
