Attractive patio base. Umbrella pole fits into the base without any issues. Secures our 8 foot umbrella through opening in the table.

Appears as described, worked as expected! My umbrella fit inside and the tightening mechanism worked to pin it in place. I got this to stabilize the umbrella for my new patio table. It is not super heavy - I feel like it needs the table to stay upright if it gets real breezy. We got a strong gust of wind yesterday afternoon and it toppled over. It was standing alone since the table hast been delivered yet. But I closed the umbrella and it stayed upright after that. I would def recommend for patio furniture or if you dont live in a windy area.
