Heavy enough to stabilize 9 diameter umbrella. Only wish there were holes going all the way through with a large pin to prevent the umbrella from loosening. Be sure to move the umbrella by holding onto the base. Its difficult to get the set screw tight enough to move holding the umbrella pole.

We have a large patio, and this is the third umbrella I am adding. This base is practical, nice looking and a wonderful value. I recommend!

This umbrella base arrived on time and in perfect condition. It was easy to put together and looks great on our deck. The weight is substantial and the umbrella we purchased is very secure. I would recommend this base to anyone!
