This stand works well and is a good price. If you have a large, heavyweight umbrella, choose a heavier base. This one isnt as heavy as another one I own, but it works well for the 7-ft, smaller umbrella on our patio. I always close the umbrella while not using it, so the wind doesnt cause too much swaying.
