The main reason I purchase this set is the foldability of the set. I do not want to leave it out year long and risk getting rusty or moldy. Only the table has to be assemble and this was quit easy.

Bought this to use with a 9 foot freestanding umbrella with a 1.5" diameter pole (this base comes with two shafts to accommodate multiple sizes). The design and weight looks like this will be able to stand up to windy conditions. Although spendy, especially relative to the price of the actual umbrella, it appears to be worth it since the construction is solid, the bottom lays perfectly flat and the wheels actually work well enough to move this heavy base after tilting it up even with umbrella attached.

This stand was delivered on-time and was easy to assemble. It covers a large area and is heavy enough to stabilize a 10’ umbrella. It seems sturdy and well-built so it is worth the extra money.

This item is very sleek and can fit under a table and not interfere with the dining chairs. A bit difficult to pick up to transfer to another spot since the bottom plate is so thin. We are going to put a thin rope to make a handle so that we can transfer. Otherwise very good looking.
