I am sure happy with this! The red is leaning toward cranberry-ish. Its good to recall that this is a rectangular umbrella -- not round. Maybe I knew that and chose to ignore, but I was a little surprised. The previous one was round but my table too, is rectangular so it works well. Others had trouble with the lights -- not here. Just really lovely. Too soon to know about fade, but thats why you put it in the garage during off-season. I leave it down, but open slightly -- initially because it then allow it to dry after rain and humidity, but I find its attractive that way. There is a switch -- much like a light switch, on the tip of a rib. This turns the lights on and off. I am just tickled. I have already arranged a dinner party so I can use it!

This umbrella is light enough for me to take out of the base (not provided) when necessary. I like the rectangular shape. One can spin it to cover a person. I am using it with a 30” table and four seats which it covers well. The solar lights are a nice touch. They turn on easily with a little switch located on the end of one of the umbrella tips. Good price for what we got!

Seems like they will work fine. The fabric is thinner then my other umbrellas so I hope they hold up over the SoCal summer!
