Its hard to explain what the bath towel feels like especially if you are used to a thick heavy towel like a Matouk or a light weight like sports towel like a microfiber as this towel is the best of all worlds. Light, absorbent, dries quickly, washes easily, takes no place to store, and hangs beautifully on a towel rack. Has a contemporary look. Its so light that at first touch you think, this is not going to dry me. It is so absorbent that it puts the thick towels to shame and should make a sports towel obsolete. Took a little mental adjusting because it feels too thin to be great. LOVE the feel. TOTALLY best towels we have ever owned. If you are wearing jewelry with prong settings, be aware, they fibers will pull- thats the only negative I have to say and not enough to make me change my rating!
