I use this blanket as a duvet insert in southwest Florida. This blanket is the right weight, so it is not oppressive.. The all cotton product breathes. I want a bedcover that is useful, and can remain on the bed. My new duvet cover shrank. This blanket was 103 inches wide, not the 110 as described. Luckily I have a duvet with components that fit. The cotton cover on the blanket feels like plastic; however, I have not washed it yet. I am happy with this purchase.
