While I absolutely love the lamp and the warm light that sleeps through the cork shade, the shade itself is wobbly. I put electrical tape around the base of the groove that holds the shade and that seems to work. I bought two of these lamps to sit on our stereo speakers. They are a perfect addition and are very unique.

Sold under battery operated. It is not. However, pretty so kept for use in guest bedroom.

I was having a difficult time finding a set of lamps for our two small nightstands. The lamps were either too big, or if they were smaller, were cheap looking or more suited for a childs room. These fit my bill perfectly. They arrived 3 business days after my online order, securely packaged and in perfect condition. The colors of the shade and base blend perfectly with my wood furniture and brown metal headboard. It is a well-made lamp that gives off just enough light,. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
