This trash can said it shut quietly but it doesnt. Pit slams shut. That is the biggest reason I bought it. If I wanted it to slam shut I could have bought a $10 trash can. Unfortunately, the box got thrown away by accident in my move or I would definitely return it! If is ridiculous to spend that amount of $ when a $10 trash can would do the same. Very disappointed.
