I was surprised and delighted by this rug: it has excellent clarity and the dyes are beautiful, It looks gorgeous on our new, oak hardwood floor--, but it could elegantly brighten any part of the house --an office or bedroom, even a kitchen.. The rug feels robust, but it is not scratchy. It will be able to withstand traffic, including dogs nails passing across it now and then. A+.
