This induction cooktop detects your cookware, so it stays cool to the touch, except where it comes in contact with the pan. Cook your food to perfection with the 10 different power settings and the expansive heating capabilities to adjust temperature from 140 - 450 degrees Fahrenheit. The cooktop comes with a convenient, energy saving timer that shuts the appliance off after 180 minutes. The cooktop comes with everything you need for induction cooking including the Max Burton Induction Interface disk which eliminates the need to replace existing cookware. The disk allows you to use cookware that is not normally rated for induction use, resulting in huge cost savings and versatility. This induction cooktop is great for home use to cook up a quick, but tasty meal for a modern family. Because induction cooking uses electromagnetic force, the cookware you use must be magnetic. For example, cast iron, carbon steel, and 18/0 stainless steel will work while aluminum, copper, and other grades of stainless steel will not without the included interface adapter disk. Disk is compatible with more cookware including glass, copper, aluminum, and non-magnetic stainless steel.
