The vent works very good , not too loud. Easy to install ,instructions were easy to follow. The vent was delivered in less than a week. And looks great!

I shopped around for awhile for a new Range Hood and did not like the looks of the off the shelves range hoods in the big box stores. I purchased the AKDY AK-Z198KN3. The range hood came very fast, was packaged exceptionally well with a white adhesive plastic to prevent scratching inside a big plastic bag all securely packaged in styrofoam inside a heavy duty cardboard box. I had to make my own metal bracket for securely mounting to my kitchen wall spanning two studs, the mounting holes in the unit are spaced 9" apart. The electric cord comes with a three prong electric plug, I cut this off and hardwired the unit. Assembly was easy using the enclosed washers. screws, gasket and parts. Two things that possibly could be upgraded is: the loudness of the unit, its loud on the high setting, the other is the installed LED, while bright they have a blueish tint to them (cold light) I am researching alternative bulbs at this point.

I looked around for a range hook for our newly remodel kitchen. I went to the local stores. Couldnt find someone there to help or explain the options. Somehow I landed at Houzz website, and browse around. One thing that it caught my attention was that the manufacturer has 5 years warranty, while other has only one year. I saw several models on the site. I compared them with my contractor and decide to pick this one. I am glad that I chose this one. It looks good, also does the job well. I am very happy.

We have not yet installed this hood fan, but it arrived quickly, was packaged well, and it looks really stylish! For the price, you just cant beat it. It looks every bit as high end as the other fans we were looking at that cost $500+ more! Those fans moved a comparable amount of air as well.
